This blog was born as a public album of illustrations that I intend to make,  inspired by the Divine Comedy, or rather the first canticle, Hell.

The key to these drawings will be the humanity that I see prevailing, situation by situation,  verse by verse. They will therefore be realistic drawings, even if I will have to deal with fantastic and visionary themes.

After all, Hell, of the three canticles, is the most "earthly". It is no coincidence that it has been a source of inspiration for generations and generations of artists (the real ones!).

I will make the 33 "canti" a guiding thread of work, a theme and many themes ready on the table and "only" to be interpreted. Free to concentrate above all on the technique, for many a fairly dry matter, but a fun, for me.
