I point out Pete Beard’s You Tube channel and in particular the series dedicated to “Unsung Heroes Of Illustration”. It is a rich retrospective that traces the career of the greatest international illustrators, with particular reference to the golden age of illustration. Beard’s comments are in easy-to-understand English. They are a great opportunity to deepen valuable but lesser-known authors, for example, then Pyle or Rackham.
